Free-Two Arabic & Persian Dictionaries

Munir Ba'albaki, Al-Mawrid, A Modern English Arabic Dictionary, 1967, Dar El-Ilm, Beirut, Lebanon.
S. Haim, Haim's One-Volume: English-Persian Dictionary, 1974, Y. Beroukhim & Sons, Teheran, Iran.

Again, today went to the library and got two old dictionaries. Al-Mawrid, an a English Arabic dictionary and Haim, a Persian dictionary. Al-Mawrid is sound familiar for me, but don't know where, when, how. Maybe I come across from my previous reading. Don't know what to do with these books, surely valuable. Hope I will use them someday in future. There are so many pre-Islamic in Arabic and Persian books. Maybe with these two books will help.

Minerals from the Marine Environment - A new view

KENT,P. Minerals from the marine environment, Arnold. London, 1980.

A free old book that I got from the library. Quiet interesting book. It's open my view on the sea which I don't know that there are so many "treasure" from the sea other than the oil & fishes. The writer explained on various "treasure" can be discovered from the sea bed. From metal and non-metal minerals in various places in the world.

Weakness: Too "old" in this fields. Data and technologies presented are out-of-dated. Even the picture is in B&W.

OK for beginners like me.
Just wonder, if there are so many mineral in the sea, it is can be say that the total amount of element in this world has'nt changed since the first day GOD created the earth. Only think is that the element is changing from one to another but the total amount of them aren't evovled to another forms.
